The short version
Brown Noise doesn't collect, sell or share information about you. There's no account, no ads and no analytics.
What stays on your phone
Your settings (color, depth, volume, timer, and how many times you've listened, used to decide when to ask for a rating) are saved on your device only. Deleting the app deletes them.
Purchases
If you buy Pro, the purchase is handled by Apple or Google. We use RevenueCat to check whether Pro is unlocked. RevenueCat receives your purchase receipt and a random ID created by the app; it doesn't receive your name or email. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
This website
The website and its free web player use no cookies, ads or analytics, and the sound is made in your browser. If you fill in the partner or clinician form, we get the name, email and anything else you type in, through our web host, Netlify. We use it only to reply to you and send your codes, and we delete it if you ask. We never sell or share it.
Children
The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
